Why it matters. Numbering doors by creation order is how D-47 sits next to D-12. The mark should follow the corridor, not the file history.

What VI MCP does. Number the set in the order it is laid out. When the mark has to say which room or host it belongs to, that is grouped numbering. Rebar Number cannot be written this way.
