Swap types on a found set

Why it matters. Swapping a type resets writable instance parameters. Writing every value back looks thorough and quietly undoes the reason you swapped.

What VI MCP does. Text parameters come across. Height and width do not — the type is allowed to drive them. Duplicate a type first when you need a variant, then swap.
